Our story
About Playa del Rosario
A family-run resort on one of the Philippines' most unspoiled coastlines.
Born from a love of this place
Playa del Rosario began as a simple dream: to share the quiet beauty of Baganga's Pacific coastline with families who were tired of crowded resorts and manufactured experiences. We first opened our doors with just seven rooms and an open restaurant.
Today the resort has grown to 12 rooms and 2 private villas, but the spirit hasn't changed. We're still family-run, still sourcing our seafood locally, and still committed to the idea that the good holiday is one where you genuinely slow down. Our staff are from Baganga itself — they know these waters (there are several water-themed tourist sites), these reefs, and these sunrise better than anyone.
We built Playa del Rosario for families. For the parents who want to actually relax, and for the kids who want to explore; for colleagues who want to strengthe bond, and for friends who want local adventures. The beach is right there. The pool takes the danger away from strong current. And the swings and seats under the trees are free.
